Mary Waldorf serves as Director of Events at Berman Group. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing and leading Berman Group's Events Department, working closely with Sarah Berman. Mary has more than 20 years of experience specializing in events and student development, and held various positions at Columbia University, New York University and Wilkes University. Prior to joining Berman Group, she served as Executive Director, Work Management and Scheduling at Columbia University. There she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of event operations, coordination, and logistics across multiple campus venues, managing a team of four and 6,000+ events annually, securing city permits, handling complex vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring compliance with safety and weather protocols, and developing policies to mitigate risks while driving $4.5M in revenue.

Mary is a collaborative leader who excels in overseeing multifaceted teams. Her expertise includes negotiating multi-million dollar contracts, managing vendor relationships, and driving the implementation of new technology solutions to streamline event operations.

Mary holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University, a Master of Science in School Counseling from The University of Scranton, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology form Wilkes University. As a fitness enthusiast, Mary has finished two NYC Marathons and is an avid weightlifter who enjoys educating herself on strength training techniques and nutrition. Her passion for detail and strategic vision makes her an invaluable asset in the execution of our clients high-profile events, form ideation to completion.
